This fictional rooftop scene is a starting point for a film language: a small human presence, an expansive city, and the charged space between them. The study asks how light and framing can suggest a story without explaining it.
The creative starting point
Begin with an emotion. Find a point of view. Let the environment hold the tension. The next creative step would be a treatment and storyboard, shaped with a writer and director.
