Look beyond visibility

Some people have a strong body of work and very little exposure. Others have the beginning of a distinctive voice and need a useful first opportunity. A creative ecosystem becomes richer when it can recognise both.

Make collaboration specific

A clear brief, a defined role and honest expectations are practical forms of respect. Discuss payment, credit, rights, revisions and timelines before production begins. Good intentions do not replace a workable agreement.

Value the point of view

Emerging creators should not have to erase their perspective to participate. The aim is to connect a person’s voice with the craft, context and support that helps it reach an audience.

Begin with a conversation

A short introduction and a few relevant samples can be enough to start exploring a fit. An invitation to introduce yourself is not a promise of employment, funding or selection. It is a way to discover what might be possible together.
